Mini Summer Haul @ Target

Last week when I got my free pair of DSW shoes (love themmmm!), I stopped into Target because I had a few Target coupons that expired that same day. I browsed the aisles and paired up my mfr coupons with Target coupons allowing me to come out with a mini summer haul. I got all this for $1.71! Here's how:

  • Nivea for Men Body Wash - ($3.49) - $2 mfr cpn - $1 target cpn = .49
  • NYC Eyeliner Duet - (1.89) - $1 mfr cpn - $1 target cpn = FREE
  • NYC Eyeliner Duet - (1.89) - $1 mfr cpn - $1 target cpn = FREE
  • Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - ($2.49) - $1 mfr cpn - $1 target cpn = .49
  • Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear - ($2.49) - $1 mfr cpn - $1 target cpn = .49
  • Sally Hansen Advanced Hard as Nails Strengthener - ($3.24) - $2 mfr cpn - $1 target cpn = .24
  • Total = $1.71 OOP
I picked up a Nivea Men's body wash for my boo (smells sooo good) and beauty goodies for myself (yayyy). These goodies included Sally Hansen Nail polishes in 2 great colors for summer, 2 NYC eyeliner duos in a light blue/black and green teal/black, as well as a Sally Hansen Nail Strengthener.

- Islands In the Stream (top)
- You've Got the Power (bottom)

NYC Eyeliner Duet Pencil Swatches
(Left to Right) You've Got the Power/Black - Islands In the Stream/Black
These liners are amazing for the price! I've already worn You've Got the Power/Black. Application is smooth but not too creamy and I have yet to experience any fallout (I hate when eyeliners do that).

(Left to Right)
Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Nylon + Retinol Strengthener
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color - 320 Fuchsia Power
Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Color - 130 Blue Me Away
I will post up pics and reviews of these nail colors soon. I am currently wearing the nail strengthener as a base and used Blue Me Away as my french tip color and applied it on my toes. So far, I'm loving this color, especially for the season!!

NOTE ABOUT TARGET'S COUPON PROBLEM:
If you're getting into the coupon game and plan on saving @ Target, be aware that it might be a bit of a pain once you've reached the register! To the coupon-er world, Target has been said to be the worst experience to have when trying to use your coupons. Why? Well, in all honesty, the employees don't know jack about the company they work for, especially not the company coupon policy! I am NOT saying ALL Target stores have this problem but every Target I've been to here in Queens, NY has caused me a headache. Known coupon blogs warn you about this issue as well. So if you plan on saving @ your local Target, make sure you carry a print-out of their coupon policy in your bag. And when you encounter a story the employees, customer service & manager make up then just whip out the policy! And watch their dumb little faces become all flushed with embarrassment. Really Target, get with the program and find a new method on training your employees, it's kind of sad that the customer knows way more than someone who actually works there! Click here for a copy of their coupon policy: Target Coupon Policy

**And if they still don't get it, (as in my case) call guest relations while you're in the store and they'll have them do things the correct way! The number is (800) 440-0680. It might seem like a waste of time to a lot of people but if you don't address the issue you'll just encounter this problem over and over again. Somebody has to put them in their place, especially when you know you're right! LOL**

What goodies have up picked up this summer?
