Review: NYC Liquid Lipshine + Photos

(Left to Right) NYC Liquid Lipshine - Midtown Mulberry - Prospect Pink - Win n Dine
Hello all, I haven't been blogging like I should be but I promise I will try doing my best to blog daily from now on. I hope you all had a great fourth of July!! I just stayed home and hung out with my sisters, which was nice because I don't get to see them on a daily basis since they don't live with me. The lovely and generous people at New York Color sent me great products to review for MY LOVELIES. Among these products, I received the Liquid Lipshine Glosses in Midtown Mulberry, Prospect Pink, and Wine n Dine

These lipshines come in 10 different shades ranging from light sheer colors to pigmented deep colors. They go on smooth with a creamy soft texture that is not too sticky. Wear these colors alone or pair them over a lip color. Applicator tips are long pointed sponge tips which are not my favorite but I don't seem to mind using them. The one thing I wish these lipshines offered were a swiping system inside the containers to control the amount of product that comes out on the applicator. They have a light vanilla cream scent that I actually like, it's not overpowering at all.

Colors:
Natural Sunlight
Prospect Pink
Prospect Pink is light frosty barbie pink. At first I was not too fond of the color because I'm not used to wearing these pinks but it grew on me and has become a nice addition to my lipgloss collection.

Natural Sunlight
Midtown Mulberry
Midtown Mulberry is a deep berry gloss with a creme finish. The color is a bit darker on my lips than in the pictures.

Natural Sunlight
Wine n Dine
Wine n Dine is deep red wine color with purple undertones. It is a creme finish as well.

Overall, I like the new lipshines and I think price is good for a gloss in comparison to others that set you back at $9 a pop. Suggested retail is $2.49 for these 0.24fl oz. tubes and you can find them at your local drugstore, one that carries NYC Cosmetics of course! Stay tuned for reviews on the other great products I received from NYC!

Disclaimer: These lipshines were complimentary products sent to me by New York Color Cosmetics. I have not received monetary compensation for reviewing these items.

What do you think of these lipshines? What colors do you own?
